Bad Homburg House
Exterior Gendai Cladding
Bad Homburg, Germany
Project Overview
This project is located in Bad Homburg, Germany. The city is located in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main metropolitan region and has become internationally known as a health resort due to its numerous water springs.
This spacious multi-level single-family home presents a cubic design and combines classic Western architecture with traditional Japanese craftsmanship: Gendai pigmented in the shade light oak gives the house its warm, natural look and once again proves its versatility. For although it takes the visual lead, it harmonizes effortlessly with other materials and styles of surrounding buildings. It meets large window fronts, which create a seamless connection between the interior and exterior, and a traditionally kept pointed roof with red tiles.
The result is a successful combination of modern architecture and traditional elements that is sure to catch the eye of any beholder.
