Kirohara House
Exterior Gendai Cladding
Shimane, Japan
Project Overview
Situated in the scenic foothills alongside the Gōnokawa River in Shimane, Japan, this remarkable project originates from Nakamoto Zourin headquarters.
The design showcases our once brushed Gendai pigmented in black paired with the unburned Sugi cypress, featuring a refined polyurethane finish. This single-floor layout optimizes outdoor space and embraces natural light through its expansive windows, sliding wall panels, and a spacious covered patio. The design focuses on maintaining a low height, allowing the distinctive pitched Sekisyu roof tiles to harmonize with the serene surroundings.
